Artist Statement
"The conceiving of science fiction has been the core idea of my work all the time. During the years of creation, the constant ingestion of new conceptions of the fictional mechanisms drives me to change my previous understanding of creation. Metaphysics and Extro-Science Fiction is a lecture text of the France philosopher Quentin Meillassoux. He referred to two fictional mechanisms there: the ‘Science Fiction’(science-fiction) and the 'Extro-Science Fiction' (fiction hors science). In the 'Extro-Science Fiction', Meillassoux raised a guiding question that: What should a world be, what should a world resemble, so that it is in principle inaccessible to a scientific knowledge so that it cannot be established as the object of a natural science?"
