Artist Statement
Limited edition, linocut print. The print has been created as a study in hand-drawn geometry and colour, taking influence from Swiss Modernism and the Bauhaus Movement.
Printed as an edition of 16 on 160gsm matt off-white paper, finished to fit within a 30x40cm mount and signed and numbered on the front.
My linocut prints are made as an oversized 30x40cm (to the size 32x42cm) to enable them to fit in a larger frame with a 30x40 mount. If you would like the excess to be trimmed to fit a 30x40cm frame flush without a mount, please let me know and I'll be happy to trim them.

With a background in design, Cheltenham, UK based artist Liam Roberts has dedicated his output to creating spatial harmony. Taking geometric, abstract forms, he creates visually pleasing, carefully constructed works that appeal to a sense of order and structure whilst maintaining a sense of the artist's hand. He creates three main types of work, Paintings, Linocut Prints, and Geometric Giclee Prints, all designed as simplified studies in natural form, architecture and mathematics.
