Artist Statement
This is a series of serigraphy based on the pi sequence. With my mathematical background, I was mesmerized by how the sequence has no repeating pattern and an infinite number of numbers. I’ve named the series by the decimal increment of the sequence, except for the first, which is the truncated version that is known by most. There are 6 in the series, each with a different number of passes on the press and each has a different edition. The color palette and the use of the typography tied them together – as a grouping of all 6 or as individual.
