Artist Statement
"First snow"
Acrylic and India ink on linen canvas
110 X 80 cm
This work is a poetic invitation to meditation, inspired by nature and seasonality.
The artist was inspired by his walks in the forest of Fontainebleau, near his studio.
The work is accompanied by a poetic text written by the artist:
"The first snows caress the black branches, animating the ink of your last hopes. The essence of cold penetrates you. Do not resist. It will freeze your heart, wash away your fears, reflect its blackness to die or be reborn with it. or without being. "
This work is from the series "Les Naturenales":
"Nature is for me endowed with a soul that I want to share and defend to bring peace and love between forms of life. I work by juggling between masses, bright colors and precise lines to lead the viewer to get lost in the painting. "

Artist statement:
"My painting seeks to reconnect the world of adults with the spirit of children, magic, paganism. I invent a world where plants, trees, flowers, forests have an aura, a soul and secrets to reveal. In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
The human species is no longer alone in its bubble and its quest for material growth. Development is collective, in the capacity of each species to commune, harmonize and communicate with other species, other worlds, other times.
It is about taking the viewer on a journey where escape and fantasy are part of everyday life and 'reality'. I therefore seek to establish little by little a new ontology by the accumulation of symbols linked to childhood, hedonism, joy, wild life marked by pagan rites. "
