Artist Statement
This work pays homage to the evocative power of flowers as a sacred and artistic symbol.
Painting these plants is an opportunity for the artist to summon the famous painter Matisse, but also Monet and his abstract natures, while evoking the Asian influences that reign in the work of Linda Bachammar. On a watercolor background, Indian ink at the bottom of the painting highlights the fresh colors of the vegetation and the pastel pink of the collages. The purified flower petals are thus the bearers of a very special poetry.
The realization of this work follows the precepts of the painter Paul Gaughin who particularly inspires Linda Bachammar: "The artist should not copy nature but take the elements of nature and create a new element."
The title refers to the song of Edith Piaf and offers a visual poetry in pink to this state of grace that accompanies the feeling of love.

Linda Bachammar is a French painter and designer with national and international visibility (France, Usa, Italy). His work is mainly focused on a poetry of existence, drawing its inspiration from nature, travel or meditation. Linda Bachammar installs sweet and strange reveries in her works. She expresses all her energy and breath of life through intense colors. The artist seeks to create a poetry of links between human and nature, dream and reality, the human species and spirituality.
Linda has exhibited in several galleries and art fairs in France and abroad, notably in Paris at the legendary Grand Palais for the "Watercolor and drawing show", at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux with "Les Peintres du Marais". Abroad, it is in Italy that she distinguished herself at the international exhibition Kromatika curated by Cosimo Strazzeri or AMARS in Milan curated by Eva Amos.
Artist statement:
"My painting seeks to reconnect the world of adults with the spirit of children, magic, paganism. I invent a world where plants, trees, flowers, forests have an aura, a soul and secrets to reveal. In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
The human species is no longer alone in its bubble and its quest for material growth. Development is collective, in the capacity of each species to commune, harmonize and communicate with other species, other worlds, other times.
It is about taking the viewer on a journey where escape and fantasy are part of everyday life and 'reality'. I therefore seek to establish little by little a new ontology by the accumulation of symbols linked to childhood, hedonism, joy, wild life marked by pagan rites. "
