This work is a poetry of winter approaching at the edge of the wood, testimony to the passage of time and the seasons. It was made by the artist inspired by the proximity of the forest of Fontainebleau, which is right in front of his studio!
This piece was first made with watercolor in the wet, then with glaze for the colored background that evokes the sky or an aquatic universe.
Then the trees were made in Indian ink.
Cosimo Strazzeri during Kromatika says about the artist: The chromatic contrast between colors and ink creates the inner / outer dialectic of Linda's works whose common theme is the desire for transcendence and harmony. It can only be achieved through a relationship of communion with nature, which makes it possible to go beyond the limits imposed by existence.
Based in: Fontainebleau, France
"Seek to connect the viewer with the energy of nature. To encourage one to feel the power of life through la dolce vita."
Trained as an actress, Linda Clerget extends her artistic field from theater to visual arts through the practice of photography and painting. The artist seeks to create a poetry of links between humans and nature, dreams and reality, the human species and spirituality.
Her works, which navigate between figuration and abstraction, are imbued with raw vitality and beauty; vitality of the touch, of the color, powdering of the material...
She builds a poetic and intuitive visual universe, which speaks to our sensations and our emotions before our intellect.
She invites the viewer to open all their senses and projects them into 'little paradises' where time slows down.
Linda Clerget has exhibited in several galleries and art shows in France and abroad, notably in Paris at the Grand Palais for Art Capital or at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux with Les Peintres du Marais. Abroad, she has distinguished herself in the USA and Italy at the international exhibition Kromatika organised by Cosimo Strazzeri or AMARS in Milan organised by Eva Amos. She is represented by The Art Cycle Gallery in France and DegreeArt in London.
