Artist Statement
This work proposes a meditation in front of the discontinuous energy of trees and their graphics. Made on crumpled Nepalese paper. The artist usually begins by working on Nepalese paper by wetting and crumpling it. Then she lets it dry for about 24 hours. Then comes a work with ink to establish dominant colors that will serve as a nest for the graphic derivatives of the trees made with Indian ink. This graphic work is done both with the Chinese brush but also with finer watercolor brushes as well as with the glass pen for the finest branches.
