'ILa Peonia Rosa ' is one of the images from the Italian flowers 2020 Series of Lake Como Flora.

Inspired by the original Flora Series which began in Australia and is an ongoing project throughout other regions of Europe .
The works are identified by the great refinement of craft, by the wit and grace of its formal invention, and by its unequaled sensitivity to the quality and character of light.
Through the meticulous craft of photographing and printing , the eye at first glance believes that the images are paintings and not photographic.
There are more than 30 flora images from the Italian Series.

Based in: Italy

Linda Rosewall’s artistic path was cemented as a young girl, as she was born into a
musical family. Her father, a very accomplished musician and composer raised his six children to be a performing, singing and dancing family act.
It was a nomadic existence traveling across the United States and Canada as her father piloted a Cessna 127.
Capturing these moments on her little Kodak Instamatic where the roots of her
photographic career.

At the age of 18, she enrolled at Columbia College of fine arts\ Chicago and began
assisting photographer Norman Bilisko as well as other notable photographers, Dennis Manarchy, Gregory Heisler, Lorraine Sylvestre and Raymond Meier.

She opened her first studio in Sydney, Australia in 1994.
Vogue Australia began featuring her still life images. Harper’s Bazaar, China
Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, Grazia, Women’s Health, Men’s Health magazines are her editorial clients.

Inspired by the Australian landscape, Linda’s photography featuring its beautiful
fauna and flora caught the eye of the skincare and cosmetics industries to which she incorporates into her commercial work.

The botanical studies, still life images as well as the beauty genre continue to be the central theme of her photographic work.

Linda is based in Italy and travels to New York, Australia and throughout the EU.
