Artist Statement
Abstract painting in acrylic on canvas inspired by earthy autumnal foliage. It is a lively abstract painting in brown, beige, ochre, yellow, mustard, white and blue. Part of the GeoFlora series, a collection of abstracted botanical paintings where drip and splatter techniques are used to suggest plant life, like wildflower fields and sea corals.
For the creation of this piece, professional grade acrylics with high quality color pigments and excellent fade resistance were used. The painting is signed on the front, and signed, titled and dated on the back. It measures 22 x 28 x 1.5 inches and the edges of the canvas are painted white. It will arrive wired and ready to hang on your wall. A signed certificate of authenticity is included with the artwork.
