Artist Statement
"In his most recent works (a direct consequence of the latter and also, in some way, a synthesis of all his previous works), which Luca emblematically calls "Vanitas", the founding theme of the body-time relationship appears as the poetic and symbolic of all his searches: inside cases and glass bells, which evoke echoes of liturgies and iconography of residual or now forgotten religions, fragments of ceramics and whole figures are assembled with exquisite taste which, together, become alienating almost like a ready-made made duchampiano, but still manage to emanate the same feeble song that arises from the forgotten objects of so many water scenes by Tarkovsky".
