Artist Statement
The theme of the sea, water, underwater plants is a favorite theme in the work of Ludmila. She conveys movement, mood in her paintings. In the new work Clouds Float, the artist contemplates blurry clouds stuck in a coastal wave. The painting is almost monochrome: delicate pastel colors emphasize a clear sunny day, an almost clear sky and only a few blurry reflections on the wet sand.
