Graphite and oil pastel on paper.
This drawing reflects the profound relationship between a Sikh meditation master and his disciple.
The image speaks of the age-old story, present in many Eastern philosophies, of spiritual improvement under the guidance and protection of a god-man, a perfect Master.
The soul is represented by the female figure resting on the shoulder of her Master with innocence.
