Reflection of Infinity
I am an Abstract Expressionist Artist who works with feelings rather than concepts.
My Studio is both in The Netherlands and France, where I find the best culture and nature.
For the last 25 years, I have studied at various Academic in The Netherlands.
Through different techniques, the abstract gives me enormous freedom to express myself.
Nature is a source of inspiration for my fascination with the imperishable and impermanence, the immaterial and material, the silence and movement.
Working in hospitals gave me insight and is a common thread to the nature and physical world.
The research begins with an attentive observation driven by curiosity.
Thoughts and interpretations fall away; the inner connection is of interest for the feeling radiate out in my Artwork.
I bring the sketches to the Studio, where the exploration begins.
The conversation between burning, pigments, topic and paper creates a balance.
The use of the Enso circle is vital to sustaining the connections.
Making marks by burning, using various mediums and the pigments, on Hand made paper to shape form and colour.
