Sculptural wall hanging geometric cones made of plaster of Paris, 2013
There is an indefinite palette of emotions. At times you might experience the most invigorating moments, and then feel completely desolate. These moments are displayed through different cones. Some individual cones are transcendent with a golden layer which represent the ultimate state of mind. How does one perceive their current state of being?
The piece is handcrafted from Plaster of Paris and consists of three different sized cones which took approximately 300 hours to complete. The whole piece is coated in black and some cones are layered with 24ct gold leaf.
