Artist Statement
Taking a pause from the hustle and bustles of today’s urban mindset, Margarita Cajumban is inspired by a bygone era. Without the modern trappings, her scenes of minute pointillism details on bright vibrant color fields evoke a certain innocence in youthful optimism and joy.
Cajumban (1994) is from Paete, Laguna.
This is part of Qube Gallery at Crossroads’ Young Artist series.
