Artist statement
On the eve of February 14th, I'd like to present my new piece "Girl with a pearl necklace". A young lady in a grey blouse dreamily looks at us. In the background, the sun rays play a bizarre game on the forms where ancient sculpture and architecture are slightly read. Her haircut and her features remind us of Venus and the pearl necklace finishes the composition as a symbol of beauty and simplicity.
