Artist Profile

Born: 2000

Hometown: Toledo, Cebu

Based in: Toledo, Cebu

Francisca was born June 22, 2000 in Toledo City Cebu. She is the youngest among the group. As she tried to recall, during her primary grades she’s interested in drawing already. In her junior days, every time her MAPHE teacher gave them drawing projects she felt excited. When her friend, Orley Ypon invited her to go out of town for hangout, She was surprised that it’s not just a hangout, there they did on-the-spot paintings which was also her first experience to hold brushes and canvas. She used to get upset when they gave her small canvas, she wanted bigger one for its more challenging. Orley invited some Cebuano Artist and formed a group which is Aroma Art Academy. Since then her passion in art enhance and develop through the mentorship of Orley and his colleagues. They teach me to draw and the importance of values application in painting. She hasn’t pursued her Senior high school because she was captured by the art world. She begins to love and appreciate the beauty of natures and realized how wonderful the world is. She concluded and chooses to be an artist rather than going to continue her studies because for her she will learn more things here.
