Knew you for a moment
In an instant I want a commitment
Who are you?
Why do I Love you?
Six days we were so connected
On the 7th you disconnected
What we have was so pure
Yes am sure.
I asked the Lord why?
I was so shy
I can’t say it
Just say it...
I miss you baby
Don’t you ?

Maria Regina Coeli A. Manese was born on August 27, 1978 in a family of artists. Coeli has not received formal training to produce her work with acrylic, oil and mixed media. Her paintings fall into the category of abstract expressionism, influenced by the works of established artists such as Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchell, Franz Kline and Cy Twombly. Every painting Coeli produces is a form of biblical worship, which explains the lack of singularity of a theme in her oeuvre.
It is only after three years of painting full time, in July 2018, that Coeli decided to open her work to the public and had her art exhibits at the following:
•Luxent, Quezon City, Philipines

Introduction to Curating and
While her more recent works are presently on sale, Coeli’s early art are currently not available to the public for its troubling themes and haunting images reflected the artist’s then chaotic spiritual life.
Since each painting is a result of reflection and prayer, every piece represents Coeli’s inner struggles in reconciling her humanity with God’s infinite beauty and love. Each work is a unique expression, debating between encompassing the recent past and embodying the fulfillment of the present that is God’s gift. The complexity of these experiences requires Coeli to exhaust a certain mixture of emotions expressed in a finite series of paintings. However, it is easy to observe that Coeli’s singular style is inconsistent or even not present. This is due to the fact that every moment is created newly and presents the blank canvas of nothingness, which produces the opportunity to create anything and everything for each time she chooses to paint.
Unlike some artists, others well known, Coeli is at a lost in recreating any of her finished art work. There is no use to redo perfection when there is yet another perfect moment to paint an expression of love. The uniqueness of every work presents the facets of God’s boundless love. Coeli depends on this Source of abundance to continue to show the world its infinite possibilities.
