Artist Statement
Recently I found out that Edinburgh looks so close to Saint-Petersburg, it's like two city brothers. It's such a beautiful grey cities, there is practically no sun, it's windy but so spectacular.
I created my new drawing using graphic tools, liners, markers on a cardboard.
This artwork will look beautiful in a black wooden frame.

My name is Maria Susarenko. I'm an artist and the member of Russian Artist's Union and IFA's member. I have a two master's degree in art area that I received in respectable Stiegiltz Academy in Art and Industry. I love travelling and architecure, another inspiring source for me is women. I have a unique graphic technique I usually use graphic markers, ballpoint pen, acrylic and tempera paint. My architectural paintings are like a travelling around the world! I create graphics of places that I have seen or that I'm going to see in unuque expressive style. Also I create series of painting that illustrate the combination of classic and contemporary styles. Hope that you will feel the special positive energy of my art!
