Artist statement
▶ABOUT «HIDDEN PORTRAITS» SERIES
The portraits of the various characters are secret, intertwined with the abstract painting. They cannot be seen at the first glance. It is something mystical and unsubstantial, like a spirit or a ghost. I am inspired by the portraits painted by famous artists to create this series.
▶ARTWORK INSPIRATION
Abstract Portrait in scarlet and red shades with yellow and blue accents. This painting was inspired by Sandro Botticelli's «Portrait of a Woman». I made an abstract interpretation of the portrait, the woman dissolves in the picture, and merges with the glare of light and color.
▶EXHIBITIONS
This artwork was selected to be displayed on one of the two 86" 4K screens during «Casa Del Arte» Exibition, Palma de Mallorca, Spain ( October 24 - November 5, 2022 ).
▶ ARTWORK DETAILS and HANGING
«Muse of Botticelli» - original, one of a kind handmade artwork. Singed, titled, and dated on the back. The certificate of authenticity of the painting is included. The backsides of the picture are painted black, the frame is not required or optional. Once the artwork was purchased, I will install a hanging hook on the backside. The artwork ships ready to hang.
