Artist Statement
At a certain stage, painting goes beyond the flat surface and gradually becomes a 3D object. Rhythm and colors of wooden sculptures bring energy to any interior.
Sculptures in laconic or contrasting colors are built on the basis of an assemblage of wooden elements of various shapes and covered with acrylic paint and varnish.
Wood is a natural material, warm and easy to use. Wooden blocks of various shapes and sizes are recycled scraps of furniture manufacturing and are ideal for creating abstract sculptures.
