To Deconstruct was created before a return to the sources, an escapade, a retreat, an evidence of having to deconstruct to advance, this work marks a turning point of a life, a caesura for a glance towards the sky.
The painting is varnished with a glossy effect which highlights the several used medium and the contrast.
The gilding allows my artworks to evolve during the day depending on the light.
Allowing several visions and aspects, my goal is also for the collectors to process their interpretation and appropriation of the painting until it fully feels like theirs.
My paintings are to be transmitted, but the emotions are to be exorcised and transformed as the owners will make one with the art.
Based in: Paris
Based in Paris, with a dual Italian-Berber culture, it is her fascination with the power of images and her curiosity that has guided her towards the fashion industry in which she has been evolving for the past ten years.
First a photographer and then a self-taught painter, Marina Beverelli, 32, is often described as "a character", guided by her freedom and the leitmotiv tattooed on her body, double-edged and to which she refuses to deviate, "passion".
Through abstract painting, Marina expresses herself naturally. Always with spontaneity, the artist wants to make her work a moment of recollection. Using the same materials, the same techniques, no canvas gives off the same feeling, nor is it done with the same state of mind. Making them strong and unique pieces of meaning.
With the help of her India inks, her acrylics and her gilding, armed with her spray, she contemplates this duet between the artist and the work.
