Artist statement
Painting from the series "Foggy Landscapes" №18 continues a series of medium-format and chamber landscapes made in acrylic, oil painting or mixed media. This work is dominated by restrained colors inherent in evening landscapes, the main emphasis here is on the mood. Textured elements on the silhouette of the tree crown attract attention with a dynamic play of chiaroscuro. The streaks of translucent paint in the lower part of the picture balance the diagonals of the sunset sky.
