Artist Statement
Where is the line between the open side of the personality and its half, shrouded in mystery? Wanting to show the viewer the intimate space of a beautiful silk bedroom and the bodily warmth of its owner, at the same time, I tried not to give away her hidden details and let the viewer himself participate in the creative process. My main task is to convey the combination of silk and satin fabrics with the image of a woman who expressed herself through the decoration of her boudoir.
The picture is painted with oil paints in 4 layers.The sides of the painting are painted.
Made on high-quality canvas (100% Linen, canvas density 400 gr / meter) stretched on a high quality wooden stretcher frame. Used the best Russian oil paints produced in Russia, the city of St. Petersburg.
