"Dream 2" / from the "Wefts" cycle

Nets upon nets pile up in an infinite space in its continuous redefinition close to the limit.
How there was a texture of the surface that regenerates as it is crossed by the gaze, leading perception towards an internal point, behind the eye that observes it.
Internal vision, fatuous memory of the last dream of the night, close observation of a deteriorated jpeg image, anticipation of the "Digital Ruins" close remains of human memory.

"Wefts" cycle
During years of working with architectural drawing programs I have always been fascinated by screens; without borders, however, they delimit a relevance and define areas with characteristics. When they overlap, they give rise to an entity other than the "reactants", unexpected force fields and relationships are created that have always made me think of the mysterious birth of the facts of living.

My paintings are about the potential of emptyness and at the same time about the wonder of our presence in this world, here and now, solid and bold as passing clouds.
Every picture could be the last one. It would be the end from which something else will inevitably originate.
Painting as a visual haiku, a remedy to the overwhelming flow of images we are sucked in, as if by a black hole. I wonder what will be left of this unfathomable quantity of bits of humankind memory.
