The path is treacherous with lustrous flowers. The journey is
unequivocally splendid if you so choose to see it that way.

In this work, the yellow is inspiring, and the body is seductive.

The artwork/photo is sold unframed, and will be carefully rolled in a hard tube with many layers of protection for safe international shipping. I work with top printing houses in Miami, Florida that have extensive experience dealing with art galleries to make sure the art prints are of the highest gallery/museum quality.

Printed on Hahnemühle photo rag paper, the most premium quality fine art paper which delivers the most accurate and vibrant colors in print as you see onscreen and also gives a touch of classic painting to the photo.

The photo is printed with 2cm white border each side, which makes it easy for putting in frame. Comes with signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity, to be affixed to the back when framed. Also artist signature in pencil at the back of the photo.

Artist Profile

Born: 1992

Hometown: Medellin

Based in: Miami

Mateo is a Colombian born, Miami raised artist who narrates the conversation between light and geometry through a lens-based practice.
Geometry surrounds our world, constantly influencing our decisions. Light shapes what we see, and our bodies initiate movement. Mateo uses the camera as a tool to navigate through conversations that develop through organic interactions between people and the environment.

His work has been exhibited in MOCA, New World Gallery, Cisneros-Fontanals Art Foundation, Mindy Solomon Gallery and Coral Gables Museum. Mateo received his BFA from University of Florida through New World School of the Arts. He is currently participating in an Artist Residency at the Bakehouse Art Complex.
