Artist Statement
Very minimalistic monochromatic noir style painting. I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence.
I love walking in the woods and this painting represents the soul entering the inner dark forest of our abyss, with light strongly on one side. Textured and using pallet knives.
