About the art
Artist statement
This painting represents the repeated deja vu pendulum feeling of time. Painted during times of Covid 19, the reflection process has been deep and has brought up similar early days of childhood numerous times. The pendulum of time swinging and passing through tumbling colorful wood blocks, in the abyss of winter storms, but also of my father bringing me to his favorite shop of modern furniture, art and colorful mobiles. I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence.
Thick oil with palette knife application on canvas, stretched over wood frame, wired and ready to hang
