Artist statement
Here is a flash of the unconscious to earlier days of a warming fire, charred wood, on the ice down by the rivers edge. A cold winter day, but lways fun after skating the river and cutting up the ice with the blades.
I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence. often in a very tangled colorful fashion.
I hope viewers can find some of their own self discovery by entering this image.
