About the art
Artist statement
A revisit to the initial first piece inspired by northern lights and a soundscape composition I had written and recorded by the same name. The concept of our watery souls freezing, going dark, and then beginning to crack open to new vistas. It can be an interesting dark icy abyss at times but then new portals arrive to go through to new chapters in our lives. I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence.
