Artist Statement
Part three of this piece. In times of Covid and vaccine, a metaphorical cityscape flow through the wintery ice chaos structure of inner and outer realities, from our inner time and space. I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence. This painting represents the basic realm of portraying a symbolic confused order over chaos at the downtown point within ones being, as a wintery icescape during Covid testing. The point of feeling where it is not free , finding balance is difficult, and reaching inward toward another level once again to find the balance.
Painted using palette knives with thick oils. Wired and ready to hang.
