Artist Statement
This painting represents night three of an eagle eye view vision quest of a river valley, on the top side of a Mesa with heavy tundra. Dream like of the Eternal.
I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence.
Love Thick textures using palette knife, creating rugged sculpture like diorama feel.
Wired, canvas mounted on wood, ready to hang. Works well vertical or horizontal.
