Artist statement
Another from this series where I had a dream I was an abstract painter in the 50's, and painted this work. When I woke up and realized I really was painter now in my new chapter of life, I went ahead and painted it. Funny how life works.
I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence.
