Artist Statement
A mast metaphor of the individual, standing tall through the nocturnal twilight. I hope people can enter the image and go beyond within themselves. I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence.
Painted with thick oils using palette knives, wired and ready to hang.
