About the art
Artist statement
This painting represents a metaphor of inner free flight from the abyss, and the duality of process. Painted during Covid 19 and the inner feelings of freefall tumbling and flight. I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence.
Thick oil with palette knife application on canvas, stretched over wood frame, wired and ready to hang.
