Artist Statement
I am always fascinated with the peacock. So many intricate designs and patterns can be observed especially up close. I attempted to fuse the pattern of the peacock with human-like faces to show the detail, variety, and clever designs of both the human and animal. Although two very different species, there are commonalities and splendid artistry happening. I am hoping the viewer can interpret my intentions and enjoy the splashes of color.
