Artist Profile
Born: 1977
Hometown: Plauen
Based in: Singapore
I am a German (full-time) architect and (spare-time) artist.
Since mid-2013 I have been living, working, sketching in and around Singapore.
I grew up in a small town in former East-Germany. My architecture studies took me to Dresden and Paris.
In 2004 I moved to Sydney/ Australia for work and a sunnier lifestyle. To experience Asia first-hand I relocated to Singapore in 2013.
Art was always important in my life. But for the majority it was more on the receiving (or consuming) side. Only since moving to Singapore I got more involved, thanks to joining the 'Urban Sketchers Singapore' group. This lead to a more active participation in 'creating', which is now a good balance for my day to day work-routine.
