With this series "La Llum", Adrover shares the result of a 5-year ongoing intense study of light in which he waits for the light to appear, contemplates it, and moves with it, in order to know it and even catch it.
For this, an underground natural reservoir for rainwater, becomes his studio, because "light becomes naked in the darkness", being sunlight the only one.
A creative process which, in the words of the artist, has been "chasing light in darkness".
In the presence of the earth, his earth, of water, and in his constant search for beauty, Adrover creates a universe of ephemeral worlds through the medium of photography by using, mainly, traditional Balearic blown glass objects.
Compositions are created as an aesthetic refuge, based on austere, familiar objects, which he elevates, endowing them with a certain sublimity through the transforming power of light.
Therefore, “LA LLUM” is a natural, unprocessed series, a purely organic work in which the ordinary makes a pilgrimage towards the extraordinary.

“The light within darkness is the hope in the chaos”, is an underlying theme in this series, which is aligned with the state of the planet.
