About the art
Artist statement
As I've seen the scenery I knew I had to take a picture and paint it. That beautiful tree alone on the shore just near the lake, agitated water, the land covered with snow. I was at the beach with my girlfriend for the weekend, driving and stopping at different interesting places. I found this tree fascinating it's like a portrait, I felt it was a person staying at the edge of the lake in the wind, living, surviving, maybe waiting fore something.
