About the art
Artist statement
Light leak is the burn of the image from a film photo. In the image is my grandmother, I enjoy taking candid shots of people it has a more natural feeling, they usually don't know they are photographed untill they hear the shutter of the camera. The light leak is also metaforic in the picture as she has an icon above her head and she is a very religious person.
The all over yellow light is used to give emotion to the picture and also make it cinematic to add a bit of drama.
