About the art
Artist statement
I made the painting after a photo I took last summer in 2019 while visiting Amalfi, Italy. I loved the clear blue sky, the geometry of the rocky structures to which adds some architectural structures, a few homes and a church here and there. Makes me miss and appreciate the ocasion to visit and enjoy the beauty of the world freely with no restraints. So previous summer is a symbol of gratitude to life and freedom.
