About the art
Artist statement
For the occasion of exhibiting at Gallerism 2014 (5 – 11 May at Keihan City Mall, Osaka), I showed the process of my physically walking around the venue, Keihan City Mall and Tenma, for a hundred days and recapitulates the information and colours extracted, referring to the photos taken and recorded on Instagram. The viewer will trace the history of the process of my artwork as they walk upstairs and become the witness of the time accumulated. The roof-top floor commands a bird’s-eye view of Tenma, and I expected them to imagine the disseminated colours by the whole installation.
