is an inspiration of lines and stripes and where they meet us. Are there straight lines in the world? Are lines of life straight? The play with stripes led me, as always, into the graphic lines of textures where I picked them up and continued them with brushstrokes. I am fascinated by the traces on walls, the patterns in the surfaces that tell of their texture. In this painting they are woven together in a collage-like abstraction.
