Artist statement
In Harmony by Myra Carter is an acrylic abstract on stretched canvas. It comes ready to hang with a wire across the back. The sides are painted black. In Harmony is painted with a calming colour palette of gold, cream and white with touches of pearl. It is inspired by nature and flowers and it has abstract floral shapes in the background of the painting. Many layers of colour and texture were used and the gold paint reflects the light and adds a rich and beautiful colour to the painting. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. It is registered in the National Australian Art and Artists registry as proof of provenance. Registration number provided.
