Artist statement
Indigo Ocean is an acrylic abstract by Myra Carter on stretched canvas ready to hang with a wire across the back. Using beautiful blue colours as well as wide expressive strokes this painting is reminiscent of the ocean. It has an overlay of soft white against deep blue and teal. The sides are painted white and the painting has a light sheen to it. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. It is registered in the National Register of Australian Art and Artists as proof of provenance, registration number provided.
