Artist Statement
The idea to call it 'people' came after it was finished. That's what I kept seeing, it was not my intention....I rarely paint with intention in that sense. I go where the road takes me and then I watch, look, investigate...become the observer. Just like anybody else.I d however have a very strong and sometimes stubborn sense of how the colors should be and can spend days on fine tuning, which I did with 'people'....
