Artist Statement
Style: hyperrealism
The painting shows a few large green-yellow bananas lying on a white surface. The weight of the fruit is emphasized by the lightness of the white color in the background. The black background enhances the composition well. And it seems that you feel the heaviness of the banana, the tenderness of its pulp and sweet taste.
This painting has been created in my personal original technique. With my painting, I try to express how I see the world, and on an emotional level I communicate with the viewer, hoping to fix the moment on the canvas. It is an amazing feeling when other people can touch my heart and my soul through my paintings. The real painting looks much better than the photo, which is not able to adequately show the colours, texture and sensations of the live painting.

I look at the world from the perspective of how it will be depicted on canvas. I would like to preserve a slice of our time for future generations, - how the present society lived, what it admired, what was the everyday life. To continue myself in time is probably the main reason that inspires me to be an artist.
Creating a picture in hyperrealism is a meditative state of mind where there are no thoughts or emotions. The body is making movement, but consciousness is not there. I am at the same time the one who paints, and what is in the process of creation, and a material from which the painting will be created.
