I am an artist from Ukraine.
I was working on a project for an exhibition. I had a life full of hopes and plans, but now there is a war in my country, russia invaded our territory. I stay in Kyiv and continue to paint the works that, I depict simple human dreams, how everything will be, when peace comes.
I believe that with our dreams we materialize the future, it will be the way I create it. When the sirens are wailing, I don't run to the bomb shelter, I keep drawing, it saves me, gives me the strength to resist the destruction. Unfortunately delivery now may take longer than before, may be a whole month, but you will definitely receive the painting. The national post service send parcels to other countries.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian cotton canvas tm Unico were used in a work. Finished by satin varnish. The sides of the painting are covered with acrylic. I called this series of artworks "Life in Avatar". Artwork is signed in front/back and have authors certificate.

I look at the world from the perspective of how it will be depicted on canvas. I would like to preserve a slice of our time for future generations, - how the present society lived, what it admired, what was the everyday life. To continue myself in time is probably the main reason that inspires me to be an artist.
Creating a picture in hyperrealism is a meditative state of mind where there are no thoughts or emotions. The body is making movement, but consciousness is not there. I am at the same time the one who paints, and what is in the process of creation, and a material from which the painting will be created.
