Artist Statement
"STRIPES 2011" - Original acrylic painting on paper
Description: I find that this minimal style expresses my aesthetic very well. These stripes combine harmonious colors and look very modern. This style was inspired by contemporary abstract artists from Australia. I adopted their boldness and carelessness of the stroke, which looks very fresh. At the same time, I see here a reflection of nature that surrounds me here in Russia, where there are many trees.
Materials: Acrylics, 200g Paper, Varnish finish. This museum-quality varnish gives non-yellowing protection to the acrylic painting. It is highly resistant to discoloration and offers superior clarity and durability.
My professional acrylic paints have excellent lightfastness and moisture resistance.
Dimentions: 61x86 cm (or 24x34 inches)
