Artist Statement
My Painting Diary 28/3/2022
Today, after I finished my coffee and sent my muse to work, I returned to continue painting her in a frenzy until evening. After I finished drawing I couldn't believe my eyes that I could paint such a beautiful and realistic lover. with overwhelming gratitude So I washed my hands clean. As a ceremonial wipe of the paint from his face, he grabbed Leon, the grumpy mother cat, and took a photo together as a souvenir.
For this painting, I paint her sitting cross-legged at breakfast with Leon laying on her lap. The lower left table contained coffee mugs, croissants and bread, beside her were books and notebooks. Behind her was the kitchen, which looked out to see the dishes and bowls.
This is a painting I see almost every day until I get used to it. However, I am satisfied every time I see this every day. I'm glad I spent my life and woke up to see her next to me. (Including Leon) This is a simple happiness that I am satisfied with. I was so impressed that I paint it.
